About Kathryn

Kathryn is gentle and compassionate, with an analytical and scientific mind. She is conscientious, diligent and perseveres in finding support solutions. Kathryn is particularly interested in anxiety and its expression across the lifespan from childhood to late adulthood. Her approach applies an intersection of business and psychology, from both employee and management perspectives. For this reason she is proudly a part of the ADD / ADHD Treatment Centre’s management team. Kathryn wants to be able to help people and make a genuine difference in their lives. She has taken many steps to achieve this goal, for example, travelling to Switzerland and Singapore for counselling accreditation and experience.

Kathryn uses a range of cognitive and behaviour therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) mindfulness. In addition, she uses neurotherapy techniques to help understand mood and developmental disorders within our clients. Kathryn has also successfully implemented play and art therapy with our clients, be they big or small.

Kathryn has worked primarily within anxiety, depression, stress, behavioural management and addiction. Her demographic includes both children and adults. She has experience in providing cognitive, psychometric and medico-legal assessments and reports to courts in order to create the best possible client outcomes. Kathryn is the head of the assessment programs for our practice.
